Made in USA At Rodriguez, every tandem is custom built for the riders at no extra charge. This means that we can build your Rodriguez custom frame for light duty weekend rides, or for heavy duty loaded touring. Wheel size is your choice, as is brake type and paint. If you want extra braze-ons for water bottles, a custom kick stand mount, or anything else, just let us know. Every bike is built one at a time, so it's no problem. Not only that, but your tandem will be tailored to fit you both perfectly. Parts will wear out, but the frame should be forever. Why not get it just like you want the first time?

Our direct internal design means that the frame has a 'stiffener' tube running the distance between the rear bottom bracket and the head tube. This makes the tandem harder to build, but it will perform better in all situations.

At Rodriguez Biycles, we have over years of designing, building and riding tandems behind us. Most people don't realize that we're about the oldest tandem manufacturers still building our tandems in the U.S. This gives us a broad range of experience and enables us to create the perfect tandem for you. I've always said that when you buy a bike, you're also buying a relationship with the shop as well as the people who built your bike. This is especially true with tandems.

We go to great lengths to incorporate components that will be reliable, durable and suited for tandem use. This means that the 'latest and greatest' (according to slick advertising campaigns anyway) fall by the wayside sometimes to make way for the 'tried and true'.
