Rodriguez Custom Paint Upgrade Pricing for 2016

If you want to go custom, here's a basic upgrade price guide:

+$100 Level 1 Custom (Custom Solid Color):
This option is for you if you just want a different color than one of our 4 standard options. The whole bike is still just one color. No Drawing Required. Pick any color from our custom paint color list. Here's an example of a recent level 1 paint job.

+$200 Level 2 Custom Simple fade design (Basic paint drawing required):
This is a price effective option if you want more than one color on your bike. Pick 2 compatible custom paint colors for a simple fade paint job. A simple fade can be done front to back, top to bottom, or front-back-front.

+$300 Level 3 Custom (Basic paint drawing required):
For a bit more pizazz, choose this option for a super fade, panel mask, or simple mask paint job. Pick 2 compatible custom paint colors and:
1.) Choose to have them 'super faded' from back to front or top to bottom. A super fade will fade over the entire bike. It requires many different mixings of the paints to achieve a more subtle effect than a simple fade.

Here's an example of a top to bottom super fade.

OR

2.) Choose a panel mask, or simple mask design (up to four mask edges). Here you can highlight the colors in a 'hard' edge with or without edge striping on the edges. To add more than four simple mask edges, add $20 for each above four.

Here's an example of a large bike with two mask panels. And another large bike with two mask panels in a slightly different design.

Here's a small bike example. And a small step-through bike with 2 panels.

Here's an example of a simple two-color mask design that still uses four mask edges.

+$500 or more Level 4 Custom (Detailed Drawing required):
If you have something very specific in mind, and it doesn't fit within the above descriptions then level 4 may be for you. These paint jobs are estimated after the design and colors are chosen, and can run more than $500.

Here's a level 4 example on a tandem. Here's another level 4 on a tandem. Here's a level 4 example on a step-through bike. Here's a level 4 on a race bike. And one last level 4 paint job that all of Seattle is familiar with.

  • There will be more than two paint colors on the bike.
