At R+E Cycles
5627 University Way NE, Seattle
Saturday, February 29th 10am - 5pm
Come join us for coffee, beer, bicycles, and a chance to converse one-on-one with some of The Northwest's cycling gurus at The Seattle Bike and Pike Expo of 2020.
At R+E Cycles, we love Seattle, and the small companies that actually produce their products here. In October 2008, I asked our friends Charles and Rose Ann at Pike Brewing Company in Downtown Seattle if they would like to put on an event here in Seattle with other Seattle based entrepreneurs (and personalities) and they were just as excited about it as we were.
The flavor of Seattle Small Business is unique, and sometimes gets diluted when an event gets overwhelmed with big firms that have unlimited advertising budgets. We thought it would be great to put on a smaller event that showcased unique Seattle companies and their products, while at the same time raise money for a local charity.
Over the last eleven years, the Bike and Pike has been a great success! We've raised over $48,000 for Food Lifeline here in Seattle, and had lots of fun doing it. You've helped us raise enough for almost 195,000 meals! Thank You!
Want to go to an event this February that's bicycle oriented and highly focused on Seattle based small businesses? The 2020 Seattle Bike and Pike Expo is for you! Here's some of what's lined up:
You've got no excuse not to bid for these great items. You can bid even if you are not attending! You can bid even if you're not in Seattle! You can bid online right from this link. You can send your bid in the mail to us (as long as it arrives before 5pm on Feb. 29th 2020). You can bid on your phone, tablet, you name it! It's simple.
You're invited to tour our entire facility! See where Rodriguez and Erickson bicycles are made, painted, and assembled and meet the folks who build them! Bring a friend who hasn't been here before, and we'll give you a FREE Rodriguez light backpack (while they last). Hey, FREE is a very good price right?
We are also donating a $5,000 custom Rodriguez Disruptor electric assist bike, with a paint scheme designed by the owner of Pike Brewing, for our online silent auction, as well as other great items!
Come by and see all of our new bike models including the new automatic shifting, electric assist Rodriguez Disruptor as well as the always popular Bandito and Phinney Ridge models. These bike have really turned some head over the last few years....even in the bicycle press.
100% of the proceeds from our silent auction will go to benefit Food Lifeline.
We expect slots to fill quickly, so if you would like to reserve a time, email Logan today.
You can also bid on one of the coolest auction items ever that Pike Brewing Company is donating!
We will also be auctioning off 2 $250 Kinekt™ posts to some lucky bidders!
100% of the money raised will be donated to Foodlifeline.
Glassybaby will be holding a popup at the event this year, selling hand blown glassware!
Glassybaby was founded in 2001 by three-time cancer survivor, Lee Rhodes. Their drinkware and candles come in hundreds of different colors, each with a unique name and meaning that will be cherished for years to come. All of their products are hand-blown by glass artists and made in Seattle and Berkeley.
$3 from the sale of each Glassybaby will be donated to Food Lifeline via the Glassybaby White Light Fund.
Now, just in case you haven't heard,
100% of the money raised will be given directly to Food Lifeline.
All in all, February 29th will be a fun gathering of locally owned Seattle businesses showcasing some real (and really unique!) products and services made nearby. We're happy to be a part of the Northwest, and proud that the proceeds of this event will stay right here in the Northwest through Food Lifeline.
Come and join us for great Seattle bicycles, beer, coffee, snacks, and conversation for an event that will benefit all Seattle!
